What is Al Ghorrah?

Al Ghorrah for Literature and Arts is a cultural platform founded on the belief that Arab civilization is a living civilization. It engages with Arab heritage as a continually renewing source of creativity, capable of shaping thought, beauty, and meaning.

Bringing together writers, artists, thinkers, and audiences, Al Ghorrah offers an interactive cultural experience hosted at Education City, creating opportunities for dialogue and exchange with other cultures through a diverse program of performances, music, theatre, poetry, visual arts, and educational workshops. Through this program, Al Ghorrah supports emerging voices and reimagines cultural heritage through contemporary forms of expression.

WHO CAN APPLY?
HOW TO SUBMIT?
PERFORMANCE SPACES, DURATION, AND SELECTION

Qatar-based artists and creatives of all disciplines may apply individually or as groups.

1. Prepare your performance information and supporting materials, including an artistic description, video samples, and photographs.

2. Complete the online application form.

1. Equipment:

Performance spaces provide basic equipment. Artists must bring any instruments required for their performance.

2. Setup Time:

Typically, 5-10 minutes, and less for performances requiring minimal technical setup.

3. Performance duration:

5 to 30 minutes.

4. Selection Process:

Applications will be reviewed by a curatorial committee. Selection is based on artistic quality, program fit, and cultural diversity.
