Call to Artists
17 October – 5 November 2024
What is Al Ghorrah?
Al Ghorrah means the beginning of something, and its most valuable part. Al Ghorrah celebrates the cultural heritage and arts of Arab Islamic civilizations in all their various forms and outputs. It is a platform for expression where talents, artists, artisans, and other creators can interact through their work with an audience of local communities, art enthusiasts, and families.
This edition celebrates manuscripts that were produced under the Arab Islamic civilizations, and have traveled through time transmitting an immense wealth of knowledge to the world. They also played a main role in preserving many narratives and traditions in our cultures.
