The 17th WCB is the premier international event in bioethics, bringing together bioethicists, researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world. The 17th edition marks a historic occasion as it takes place in the Middle East for the first time.
Under the theme "Religion, Culture, and Global Bioethics,” the 17th WCB aims to amplify bioethical perspectives rooted in diverse religious and cultural traditions, including voices from Asia, Africa, and South America, with a notable focus on contributions from countries with a Muslim majority.
