Green Island Guided Tours

Green Island is a QF educational initiative that helps the community learn about and practice recycling and sustainable living. When visiting Green Island, students get to learn how companies such as Qatar Energy, Agrico, and Al Awaliya (among several others) as well as universities and research centers come together to develop local solutions to the global climate crisis. Green Island also offers certifications and programs to empower Education City's community of learners.

One example is “Little Farmer,” a first-of-its-kind comprehensive program that teaches every aspect a successful farmer should master.

Volunteers will get to conduct guided tours and introduce the community to all the programs and activities that Green Island offers.
